20th November 2017

Dear Parents/Carers

Drop-in Sessions

Thank you to the many parents and carers who attended the consultation meetings on Tuesday 14th November 2017 regarding the proposal to convert Avenue Primary to Academy status and join the Eko Trust.

All documentation from the consultation meetings held on the 14th November 2017 have been placed on our school website. These can be found under the Staff and Governors’ section and within the heading of Governors, in the folder marked ‘Proposal to convert to Academy status and join the EkoTrust.’

In response to the request, that further consultations would be appreciated, I have arranged a number of drop-in sessions where you will have the opportunity to talk to me or a member of the senior staff about any specific questions you have regarding the proposal. Rebekah Iiyambo, CEO from the Eko Trust, will also be available at the drop-in sessions.

Should you wish to attend one of these sessions we require you to indicate which you would like to attend in order that organisational arrangements can be made.

I would be grateful if you would complete the slip overleaf and return to the school office as soon as possible. Please indicate whether you require the services of a translator, and, if so, which language is needed.

I will also be available to talk to individual parents on the afternoon of the 23 November 2017.

Yours sincerely

Mrs H. Nazif
